Shinzan Monument

Shinzan was a racehorse that was active in the 1960s and is one of Japan's most famous horses, known as the “Five-Crown Horse” for the number of titles he won.
His retirement also attracted a lot of attention until the end of his life, when he broke the record for the longest life span of a thoroughbred racehorse at that time.
The monument to Shinzan, a famous figure in the history of horseracing, can be seen at the ranch where he spent the rest of his life.
