Sea of Clouds
In Jinsekikogencho, when the temperature difference between morning and evening is extreme, the town is shrouded in mist, with a sea of clouds at higher altitudes.
The most famous place is the Sea of Clouds Village (Unkai no Sato) at Tsukaga toge.
From early summer to late autumn a sea of clouds can often be seen when it is cold early in the morning.
