Matukawa River
Matsukawa River flows through the CBD of Ito.
While walking on the promenade along the Matsukawa River, you can enjoy the sakura and the nostalgic hot spring district while checking out the Ito Hot Spring Cultural Center, "Tokaikan", across the river.
The river is also a popular venue for various seasonal events such as the Ito Sukechika Festival, Matsukawa Washtub Boat Competition, Matsukawa to the Sea Water Lantern Festival, Ito Hot Spring Bamboo Light Festival.
