Tsushima-jinja Shrine
Tsushima-jinja Shrine is the head shrine of the Tsushima Cult, with 3,000 subordinate shrines throughout the country.
Devout worshipers at this shrine included Nobunaga Oda and Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and it has been designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
Tatehaya Susano-no-mikoto, who protects against pestilence, is enshrined here.
