You can experience the abundant nature from the current of the Tama River and the Nogawa River that flows in as well as the spacious open field.
In October, it becomes the venue of a fireworks festival.
In the past, when Nitta Yoshioki was conspired against and met his end, the corpse of his vassal, Yura Hyogonosuke, who was on the same boat, washed up here, which is how it came to be called "Hyogoshima."
