Setagaya Literary Museum

The Setagaya Literary Museum, which is five minutes away from Roka-koen Station on the Keio Line on foot, opened as the first regional integrated literary museum in the 23 wards of Tokyo in 1995.
From Meiji onward, along with storing and introducing the diverse works of people such as writers, scholars, literary people, and artists related to Setagaya-ku, which has paved its way as a school zone, it also organizes unique exhibitions employing various neighboring fields such as comics, films, art, design, and music, with a focus on literature.
Also, "Muttoni's Puppet Theater," which portrays single scenes from literary works on a small stage with dolls, sounds, and lights, is a permanent exhibition.
Calling it a "literary museum" does make it sound rather stiff, but it actually has extremely unique special exhibitions and is a facility that everyone, both young and old, can enjoy.
