Akuneoshima Island
It takes about 10 minutes by boat to get from the Akune New Port Ferry Terminal to the island, which is about 2km off the coast.
It’s a deserted island with a circumference of 4km covered by beautiful pine groves.
Here, you can enjoy swimming on the beach and other marine sports.
The island was also selected for “100 best swimming beaches” and “Japan’s 100 best famous pines.”
