Okamoto Park’s Old Farm House Garden

Okamoto old farm house garden was opened in 1980 as a place that reproduced the life of people in the late Edo period with the theme of "living old folk house" in a corner of a river where a quiet residential area and rural scenery blends together.
The former Nagasaki main house, the former Urano family storehouse and the wooden gate have been restored, clearly reflecting the lives of the people at that time.
In addition to the fireplace being lit everyday, you can also touch the folk tools inside the houses and under the eaves. Being able to imagine the life of people in Edo through your own actual experience has also become one of the attractions.
Other than that, you can experience the feeling of having traveled back to the good old days of Japan through annual events and various classes where you can experience the old-fashioned life, making it a spot that is loved by many people, young and old, including families and couples.
