Shinkaisansya-jinja Shrine

At the back of Shinkaisansya-jinja Shrine, there is a triple-storied pagoda which was built in 1515 (Eisho 12) during the Eisho era at the end of the Muromachi period. It was designated as an important cultural property of the country along with the East Shrine.
The architectural style features "saken sanju no toba" and "kokerabuki" and mixes Zen Buddhism and Japanese style, a characteristic trait of the period.
