Mysterious stone where the water god resides
It is called "Hebi Ishi (Tatsu Ishi)" because it looks like a snake has wrapped around a white granite with a dark diabase dyke.
It is believed from ancient times that hitting this stone will cause a thunderstorm, and in mid-May every year, a rain-begging ritual is held.
