Uzurano Airfield (Uzurano Airfield Remains)

The remains of the former Japanese Navy airfield with a total length of 1200m and a width of 60m.
At that time, about 500 young people were gathered from all over the country in Uzurano, and after undergoing 30 hours of flight training there, they were scattered around to individual air corps.
In 1945, the Kamikaze (suicide) corps was formed and 63 precious lives were lost.

Volunteer guide guidance is required for internal tours of each facility.
