Matsuokyo Valley
The Genji-botaru fireflies of the Matsuo Gorge, which are said to be the best in Japan, have been famous since the Meiji era and were designated a natural monument in Nagano Prefecture in 1918.
Watching the fireflies dance is a truly fantastic experience and has a moving impression on those who view them.
