Kayabuki-no-Yakata (Thatched cottage)
“Kayabuki no Yakata” is known as the best-thatched cottage in Japan, boasting a height of 13 meters and a width of 43 meters, located in the heart of a mountain.
In addition to the accommodations, enjoy kaiseki cuisine (reservation required) which makes use of local ingredients such as mushrooms and mountain vegetables.
Also, make sure to try handmade soba noodles made by local soba masters.
Day use for the hot springs by guests is also welcome.
