Ogane Residence
The Ogane Residence (Oganeke) was built about three centuries ago, and Japan has designated its main building and Naga-mon gate as Important Cultural Properties.
The place celebrates the "Ajisai Matsuri" (Hydrangea Festival) from late May to early July, with ten thousand hydrangea blooms of over 35 varieties blossoming in full glory covering an area of 33,000 square meters.
With Hanging Doll Decorations on display from early January to early May, and the best time to see cotton rosemallows in fall, you can enjoy a different view in each season.
