Yuden-no-Sato Oilfield Park

The Sagara Yuden oilfield is the only oil-producing site on Japan's Pacific coast.
The crude oil sourced here is of good quality, even when compared globally. And in 1882, it accounted for 10% of all of Japan's oil production.
The oil field remains were reopened as a public park that also houses an oil-mining museum.
The place also appears under the same name in the popular manga "Dr.STONE," written by author Riichiro Inagaki, and illustrated by Boichi, serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump."
