The Wakuwakuza History and Cultural Experience

The Wakuwakuza History and Cultural Experience

This facility within Sakura-no-Baba Josaien highlights the main attractions on Kumamoto Castle's special observation walkway via the latest VR footage and live explanations from members of staff.
There is also a special demonstration that uses projection mapping to show the state of the castle after the Kumamoto earthquake.
The museum is also home to many other 'hands-on' experiences where you can see, hear, and feel the historical sights of Kumamoto Castle, including mini plays, trying on period outfits of noblemen & women, riding a palanquin, and more.
The Kumamoto Castle VR and projection mapping experiences are also available with English, Chinese (simplified & traditional), and Korean subtitles.
