Mikuni Jinja Shrine
Visitors to this shrine are welcomed by a magnificent shrine tower gate and a torii gate wrapped in copper plates.
A number of life-sized painted wooden sacred horses, katanas and other cultural treasures designated by the Prefecture are enshrined in its majestic precincts, where Japanese zelkova and other large trees grow.
In addition, the annual Mikuni Festival is considered to be one of the Hokuriku region’s representative festivals.
