Kenko Misato Ko
The production of zori ( Japanese sandals) flourished in Sango Town.
It is said that at its peak, 80% of all zori were produced in Sango Town.
Although the use of zori have declined significantly due to changes in lifestyle, they are now known throughout the country under the name of "Kenko Misato Ko" and are popular at nursery and elementary schools.
