Kitora Mural Experiential Museum "Shijin no Yakata"

At this experiential museum, you can enjoy learning about one of Japan’s national treasures, the Kitora Tumulus Mural, and the Kitora Tumulus that houses it.
On display at Shijin no Yakata are elaborate full size replicas of the Kitora Tumulus’ stone tomb and murals, as well as 4-screen multi-vision footage of the murals.
The museum also offers a hands-on program where you can come in contact with the history and nature of Asuka.
