Nara Prefecture Complex of Man'yo Culuture
This complex is a site for ancient culture that focuses on the Manyoshu, an anthology of Japanese poetry.
Their exhibits make it easy for visitors to learn about the Manyoshu through Japanese paintings.
Located in the complex’s underground exhibition room are dolls, footage, and dioramas that present the lifestyle of the people who lived in the Manyo period, as well as the individual characteristics and sentiments of the Manyo poets, offering visitors an entertaining way to learn about the world of Manyo.
