Asuka Historical Museum

The Asuka Historical Museum has fascinating cultural assets on display related to Asuka’s palaces, ancient temples, stoneworks, and tumulus murals, explaining Asuka’s history through the products of the archaeological excavations in a way that all visitors can understand.
The museum’s greatest exhibits are the Important Cultural Property stoneworks and Takamatsuzuka Tumulus artifacts, and the reproduction of the Yamada-dera Temple east corridor made from excavated building materials.
