Godaison Azalea Park

The stone steps leading up to the Godaison, where The Five Wisdom Kings are enshrined, is surrounded by colorful azalea flowers blooming on both sides, planted more than 350 years ago.
Between late April to early May, around 10,000 shrubs of azaleas bloom and create an enchanting landscape, making it one of the most famous azalea hotspots in Kanto.

Transportation: Car: Head towards Ogose by car on the Kan-Etsu Expressway "Tsurugashima IC"; 35 minutes
Train: From "Ogose Station" on the JR Hachiko & Tobu Ogose Line, take the Kawagoe Tourist Bus heading towards Kuroyama and alight at "Kamikuroiwa" bus station, then walk for 5 minutes.

Charge: Charged during the Azalea Festival (300 yen)

Parking: Parking lot about 150 cars
