Japan’s oldest private herb garden opened by Tosuke (Saikaku) Morino on the hill behind his home in 1729.
You can feast your eyes on approximately 250 varieties of herbs throughout the year.
It is known for the dogtooth violets that bloom in clusters in late March.
You can enjoy the sweeping view of Ouda’s charming townscape from the herb garden.
