World Maple Park "Hirara"
Approximately 3000 maples trees of around 1200 species from all around the world are planted in this maple garden, and the amount of trees and number of rare varieties are said to be the highest in Japan.
The old-fashioned wooden school building, which was used as an elementary school until 2006, has recently opened a guest house in addition to its cafes and galleries!
You can also stay overnight in a nostalgic school building.
