Yukuhashi City Tourist Information Corner "Yukuhashi Marche"

This was once the first Kyushu castle residence of Kanbei Kuroda, a warlord in the Sengoku Period. Its ruins are that of a mountain castle in the middle ages and Toyotomi Hideyoshi is said to have stayed here, too.
There is also hiking course here. It takes one hour to get to the summit, and from ruins of the fortress' honmaru main compound you have a full view of the Miyako Plains.
