Awaga Jinja Shrine
The shrine is surrounded by a forest of large cedars and cypresses, some of which are around 400 years old and as tall as 35 meters, making the contrast between the huge trees in the forest and the shrine building very impressive.

The shrine forest and the imperial gate built about 600 years ago are designated as cultural assets of the city.
