Koga Literature Museum

In this Western-style building redolent of Taisho Romanticism, which was opened as the first literature museum in the prefecture, there are exhibits of works by historical novelist Nagai Michiko, mystery writer Kobayashi Kyuzo, Sae Shuichi, who is active in a wide range of genres from historical novels to modern novels, poets Tsubumai Tetsuzo, Kasuya Eiichi, and Yamamoto Toshio, poet Oki Nanamo, writers of children's stories Isshiki Etsuko and Kaneda Takuya, and other writers associated with Koga.
The exhibition also includes materials from Kodomo no Kuni, an illustrated magazine of children's literature.
The plaza is used for concerts, readings, and features a space design, such as salons, lecture rooms, etc., suitable as a base for the dissemination of artistic and cultural information.
