Kimiidera Temple

Kimiidera Temple is the second pilgrimage site of Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage where cherry blossoms bloom vividly in spring.
When you finish climbing up 231 steps, you will have a splendid view of Wakanoura Bay.
Moreover, the total length of the large shining gold statue of the Senju Juichimen (thousand-armed and eleven-faced) Kannon is 12 meters, which is the largest wooden standing statue in Japan.
We hope you experience the size with your own eyes.
