Sagae Park
The Sagae Park is one of the largest azalea gardens in Tohoku, with 43,000 azaleas of 11 varieties. It offers a panoramic view of the Yamagata Basin and Mt. Zao.
Near the Folk Museum, there is a cherry blossom hill with about 240 cherry trees.
From there, can enjoy the view of Mt. Gassan and the Asahi Mountain Range.
