Shimanami Kaido Cycling

The Shimanami Kaido, a corridor in the sky, crosses the Seto Inland Sea.
The 70-km-long cycling road, where visitors can enjoy scenery of outstanding natural beauty, is also called a “Mecca for Cyclists” and has been selected as one of the Seven Greatest Cycling Routes in the World by CNN and as a National Cycle Route by Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism.

サクッとサイクリングを楽しむべく、尾道→向島→因島大橋→重井東港と自転車を漕いで、そこから船で尾道に戻ってきました。もっと長距離のコースを時間かけて楽しみたかったですが、旅程的に難しく、また初めてのしまなみサイクリングとしては最高のルートかつちょうど良い距離・時間でした。
