Ashigawa Valley

The clear stream stretches for about 25 km from Mt. Kurodake with an elevation of 1793m.
Traveling upstream the river of Mitama District’s Kawaura Bridge, you can see the mountain surfaces very close to both sides of the banks.
From old times, roads were built along the Ashigawa Valley, and many people passed this area because it was one of the Ichikawa roads.
There are many scenic spots in Ashigawa Valley, such as Senba Waterfalls and Yuoke no Kama.
