Kikuchi Park

Kikuchi Park is located on top of a small hill that gives you a view of Kikuchi City center. In spring, it is covered in around 3,000 cherry blossoms.
In addition to someiyoshino and mountain cherry blossoms, you can find both single and double-layered sumizome cherry blossom flowers on one tree, which are particularly rare and very much worth viewing.
The evening light-up event using bonbori Japanese lanterns is also a sight to be seen.
There is also a grassy plaza and large athletics area available. It is a spot where many visitors come to not only enjoy cherry blossom viewing, but it is also popular as a spot for families, too!
