Shoganzan Zoun-in Temple

Zoun-in, located on the east bank of the Yoshikawa River, is the family temple of Yamauchi Yamashiro no Kami, the lord of Amakata Castle, and within its precincts are the tombs of three generations of Amakata Castle lords.
Soshinji Temple (Iida, Mori Town) was founded by the fifth head priest Jogin Shosa.
Well worth seeing are the principal deity, the Ākāśagarbha Bodhisattva, and the paintings of tigers staring in all directions in the main hall.
Roshi Shunryu Suzuki, who was the superior of the temple, spread Zen in the United States and influenced a number of prominent IT companies.
