Kine jinja Shrine

Although the date of its foundation is not clear, it has been the guardian deity of the village of Kine Tanasashi (present-day Kine district) since ancient times.
The shrine is located along the Akiba Highway, which runs through Mikura at the northern end of Mori Town, and within its precincts is an inscription on a monument in the handwriting of Tokugawa Ieyasu, which reads, “That peace may reign under heaven and no misfortunes nor rebellions arise (a wish for tranquility on earth).”
