Historical Site Tanaka Castle Shimoyashiki

Shimoyashiki, which was the garden of the Honda clan, lord of the Tanaka Domain, in the late Edo period, is located in the southeast corner of the castle and was known as a famous place to observe the seasonal flowers and moon, as it even had an artificial hill, miniature lake, and tea room.
The ruins of the garden are being prepared to become a park that is a historical site, and the buildings associated with Tanaka Castle (4 tangible cultural properties designated by the city) are also being relocated, reconstructed, and made open to the public.
It is a constituent cultural property of Japan Heritage.
