Minakuchi Folk History Museum

Showcases items and materials centered on the history, folklore, and festivals related to the former Minakuchi-juku post station.
The museum features excavated artifacts from the Kofun period, and as well as displays for the actual Hikiyama festival floats that are paraded around during the Mizuguchi Hikiyama Festival.
There is a special memorial room for Iwaya Sazanami, who is known as the father of children's literature in Japan, as well as Ichiroku Iwaya, a famous Meiji-era calligrapher from Minakuchi.
