Shionoe Onsen Area
A hot spring discovered by the famous priest Gyoki about 1,300 years ago, and said to have gained recognition thanks to Kukai. It is also a "National Recreation Hot spring Area" designated by the Ministry of the Environment: there are only two of these in Shikoku.
Surrounded by nature, the historic hot spring village is dotted with inns, hotels, and museums, where one can spend a relaxing time.
