The Kinashi and Kokubunji district in Takamatsu City is the number one pine bonsai producing area in Japan.
The history of the Takamatsu bonsai dates back to the Edo period, and there are still about 60 bonsai gardens in both areas.
"Takamatsu Bonsai no Sato" opened on April 1, 2020, in order to widely disseminate traditional Takamatsu bonsai both domestically and internationally.
You can enjoy the charm of Takamatsu bonsai in the information dissemination facility equipped with a training center and a shelf with abundant bonsai.
