Ushiwatari River, Maruike-sama Pond

Both the Ushiwatari River and Maruike-sama Pond are made from the spring water from Mount Chokai.
In early summer, the Baikamo flowers (Ranunculus nipponicus var. submersus) bloom, and you can see rare fish such as the Ibaratomiyo (Pungitius) in the Ushiwatari River.
The existence of such species indicates how cool and pure the river water is.
The Maruike-sama Pond is an emerald green color from being surrounded by dense trees, creating a mystical appearance.
