Yosen-ji Temple
One of the seven wonders, it houses many historic sites and legends such as the uncrying frog depicted in the Sancai Tuhui (Chinese leishu encyclopedia), treasure house, the best loquat tree in the Prefecture, and the tigertail spruce (Prefectural designated natural treasure).
The Sekizoukyujyu-no-soutou (nine-story stone pagoda) is a tangible cultural property of Yamagata Prefecture.
