This guesthouse is a 120-year-old converted private house with a hinoki (Japanese cypress wood) bathtub.
Many foreigners also visit here.
It has a café as a place for socializing.
The coffee brewed by the owner using their coffee siphon is superb!
There are hot springs, a temple dedicated to Sokushinbutsu (monks who practise austerity to the point of death and mummification), and a mountain trailhead nearby for a full day of fun.
