Hinotonton ZOO

The Hamura zoo was opened in 1978 and at that time was one of the few zoological parks in Japan to be run by a town.
The park has a savannah garden featuring giraffes, zebras and ostriches; a study hall where you can interact with chicks and guinea pigs; and a lawn area where you can picnic next to a steam train.
This is a great place for parents and children to spend a day together.
