Ikegami Baien (Plum Garden)

The Ikegami Baien is a beautiful and quiet plum garden on the slope of a hill.
There are more than 30 species of Japanese apricot, the flower of the Ota district, which bloom with a sweet fragrance in early spring.
There are also 50 species of trees, including azaleas all over the hills, a tearoom, a Japanese style room and a Suikinkutsu (a so called water harp cave) where a buried earthen jar makes a sound as water drips into it.
