Bukeyashiki (Samurai Houses)
Along Bukeyashiki Street, you can see remnants, such as hedges and earthworks, of the former castle town.
The former residences of the Kawahara, Tajima and Takei families, once the feudal lords of Sakura, are open to the public.
One very interesting feature is the way that this size and style of the residence varies depending on the status of each feudal lord.
