Torazu-iwa Rock
Torazu-iwa Rock is a huge rock that immediately hits your eye when you arrive in the port by ferry.
It was called Torazu-iwa Rock, or Tiger Head Rock, because it looks like a tiger lying down.
The rock face has steps that provide access to the top.
A cluster of ubame oaks, which are a kind of beech, grows around the summit.
In November 2020, this was designated as a National Natural Monument, the Iheya Island Ubame Oak Colony.
The surface under foot is in poor condition, so please be careful when climbing.
