Honjoji Temple, Head Temple of the Hokke Sect
The temple was founded in 1297 by Saint Nichiren Shoshu.
Many works by Uncho Ishikawa, known as the Japanese Michelangelo, are preserved here.
Every year on February 3 (Setsubun), the "Honjoji Oni Odori" (Demon Dance) is held.
