Kannabe Honjin

The Kannabe Honjin, located a 10 minute walk from the Kannabe Station, was a resting place for feudal lords during the Edo period (1603-1868).
The 250 year old building, surrounded by a black-painted earthen wall, retains its original form.
On entry through the front gate, are a series of tatami mat rooms, including the Onari-no-ma and Ni-no-ma rooms.
