Tomonoura

The picturesque town of Tomonoura is a blend of historic streets dating back to the Manyo period.
It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Fukuyama City, the only one in Japan to have been awarded "Japan Heritage", "UNESCO Memory of the World" and "Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings".

この規模の漁村が大好物で、期待通り／期待以上でした。平日に行ったこともあり、観光客の数も程よく、混雑もせずかといってゴーストタウン感もなく、最高の空間と時間でした。衣笠という食事処でいただいた名物「うずみ」や「鯛めし」も最高。
