Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo

During the Edo period this site was used as a residence for Kuroda Buzen no Kami, of the Kururi Domain in Kazusa Province.
Then in the Meiji period a residence for Aritomo Yamagata was constructed here.
It was first named "Chinzanso" since the area is home to numerous naturally growing camellias.
Nowadays, this site is used for both accommodations and dining.
The garden features a three-storied pagoda, which is a nationally recognized tangible cultural property.
It offers a gorgeous scenic backdrop that changes from season to season.
