The oldest arch-gravity agricultural concrete dam in East Japan, the dam management bridge is registered as a national tangible cultural asset.
It is also well known as a good spot to fish for crucian carp and pond smelt.
The changing seasons can also be well appreciated, from cherry blossoms in the spring, to the beautiful autumn colors.
